Hawaii

Why you should be excited

Hawaii is a tasty combination of Gravenstein and Golden Delicious, which some (wishfully?) say tastes like pineapple.

The story of Hawaii

Golden Delicious takes a lot of flak for the vast space it takes up in grocery stores, which could be made available to a diversity of more interesting varieties.

Some of Golden Delicious’ offspring would be worthy candidates to take over such space. Exhibit A: Hawaii, an apple combining the best attributes of its parents (Golden Delicious and Gravenstein).

Fans are thrilled by the explosion of flavours, some say these even include a hint of pineapple.

Not always beautiful, Hawaii’s taste more than compensates.
