Blushing Golden

Why you should be excited:

Blushing Golden is a big improvement over generic Golden Delicious: firm, tangy and delicious.

apple_BlushingGolden_small.JPGThe story of Blushing Golden:

You’d blush too if you received as many gushing complements as this fine apple, which takes the tired old Golden Delicious and then improves it in almost every way.

Start with a pleasant orangey-pink blush on its yellow background, then add a full, rich flavour that actually improves after time in storage.

Firm and tangy, able to last through the winter if you keep it chilled, this is one fine apple.

Blushing Golden tends to be fairly large and has so much going for it that you’ll find it hard to go back to generic grocery store fruit. We suggest that you just don't do it.
